p dub and the m Vibrator is the funky brainchild of George Mavrikos and Nikos Stratakos.
This Grecian formula has been creating fun and quirky techno since 2005. The duo have paired their love of dub and techno with a vast collection of hardware gear to create a unique sound that shakes the brain and the booty.
George was born in Frankfurt and cut his teeth on the early 90s scene there. This quickly became an obsession with sound and recording and led to jobs and teaching gigs in Ecuador and Greece. He has produced hip-hop, folk, and electronic music and brings this wealth of knowledge to the group.
Nikos hails from Athens, and his past is somewhat of a mystery. Emerging from nowhere he began producing music for independent films and sound installations, and has releases on Rhythmetic Records.
With their creative powers combined, p dub and the m Vibrator are turning heads and shattering eardrums, and we’re happy to have them on the Permanent Damage imprint.
