riccicomoto – ‘out there – part 1′ EP
Posted by Permanent Damage Records on Saturday, January 23, 2010 · Leave a Comment
Ethereal, atmospheric, and soulful, “out there – part 1” from Germany’s riccicomoto is the debut release on Permanent Damage Records.
riccicomoto has been a regular on the European circuit for many years and has a devoted following, who have gobbled up his releases on Summer Rain Recordings and follow his weekly radio show, audioselfdefence on Ibiza Global Radio.
“out there” is a jazz-influenced deep house EP, sure to widen riccicomoto’s audience. Influenced by classic American cinema scores and a love of the cosmos, each track takes the listener on a zero-gravity ride through different quadrants of the house music galaxy.
For DJ’s, riccicomoto’s tracks will be a hit. Each song on “out there” can shape a set and take it from run-of-the mill to extra deep and spacey. Multi-layered pads give the record texture and personality, while the beats will make any dancefloor move.

‘Time like Dis’ is the star performer in this collection. An EP of epic proportions in talent. Sub cultured and very much in the background but it could oh so easily become a highly desired article of extreme rarety and value. Can’t wait to hear more. |
