The Love Theme – How Rude – In Stores Now

Double platinum-selling producer Dominic Owen (Biggie Smalls, Lil’ Kim, etc.) presents How Rude, released under his alter-ego project, The Love Theme. How Rude warps genres including ska, dubstep, reggae and soul into an original sound that has won praise from the likes of Giles Peterson, John Tejada, and Eddy “Temple” Morris.

The album comes after a series of successful EPs that included the songs “Timbo” (over 400,000 views on YouTube), “Indian Girl” (one BBC1 radio host DJ Nihal’s “favourite tracks of 2011″), and “Aggranation” (featured on Giles Peterson’s weekly record swap).

How Rude features collaborations with Tom HIngley of Inspiral Carpets, the late Colin Cooper of Climax Blues Band, and Unsub, NewZealand’s rising dubstep phenom. Fans of Thievery Corporation, Glitch Mob, and Jazzanova will appreciate the seamless blending of genres, while young fans will recognize the influence of dubstep on the album.
